      Personally I wouldn't do a motor swap. I'd build the stock motor into something bitchin and unique. Id rather see a hot stock motor under anyone's hood than something that really doesn't belong. Turbo it, stroke it, long rod it, bore it, all the above and have something special. To do a motor swap into an older car is not cheap unless it is a direct bolt in and all the electrical is plug and play (I highly doubt it. ;) )

      That said, if I had a run of the mill E28 and found an S38 sitting around with no M5 to put it in, hell yes I'd stick it in the E28. I'd likely do a full rebuild on it first however.

        LSx and a 6 speed...........i am willing to build a motor once. If it does not work out or i am not happy with it, that is the direction i am going.
