Ok guys I need you help... this guy is dicking me around. He WAS willing to take $1,200 for the car so I went to pick it up tonight cash in hand and he tells me he has now changed his mind and wants $1,800! I'm like WTF! we had a deal! He says I know but I thought about it and spent more than that on the wheels alone. So I nit picked the car and tried to get him to take $1,500 and he's STILL like eh I'm not sure.. Now I DO want the car however after a closer look it's starting to look more like a parts car rather than a fixer-upper. The engine has a good knock, there is a lil more rust than previously thought, it needs an exhaust, the dash is cracked and there's other little things that bug me about it. I don't mind paying $1,500 and sinking $1,000 into it BUT I do not want to pay more. Am I being an ass or should I pay the $1,800 he's now asking for? On a side note I also found a MINT 87' 325is I can prob snag for $900 BUT it's an auto and im a 5 spd kinda guy. Whatchu think?

No I haven't yet, my return just went into my account last night. I'll be picking it up sometime between now and this weekend depending on the sellers availability.

I doubt it has a dogleg box, or it would specify that on the build sheet. Unless someone swapped one in I suppose. Based on the build sheet its just a plain old 323i with the sport package that someone put a mish-mash body kit on.

What should I look for with that gearbox? And what do you mean by how the engine is "set up"?

Nice find. My first E30 was burgundrot, but it wasn't euro. :) I like the roll-up windows. ::thumbs up::

I just looked again and the number after the 9 is hard to read. Try running it with a 1 in place of the 2 so the last seven is 9162602
