Lawyer up. If they can get the 'burb at fault, your lack of collision coverage is no longer a factor.

Wow, glad to hear that you're ok! I hate driving in rain, mainly because 90% of the people driving become twice the threat they usually are.

        holy crashing batman!

Recover well, crashes are traumatic and stay on your mind, but you can get over it realizing that you are alive, more than ever

True sauce.. Till now I remember the day I crashed my e36, and seems like it happened yesterday in slow motion :(.. Then I go on thinking about all the possibilities in an attempt to avoid it. And that was over a year ago. Oh wells

            Good luck recovering OP!

Holy shit. Glad you're okay dude.
Touch base with a lawyer asap. You're ARE injured, so get some rest, answer some questions and let him handle it.

Damn dude, glad you're ok. That is definitely not a 35mph crash. I agree with what someone posted above, you're probably in shock still, go get yourself checked out, especially with a chiropractor.

Glad you are ok! I've totaled several BMW's and each time only my pride was hurt, so I have a lot to be thankful for.

That is one hard hit. Every time I see a tough hit like this I am thankful for the toughness and safety of E30s.

What happened was me driving up Lake Hills Connector in Bellevue and turning left onto SE 8th st. It was 7:00PM at night and it was pouring rain and there was snow on the ground. I had a flashing yellow yield and saw no one coming. I was taking the left and BAM. It was done.

I don't really know how it happened at all... No one has been ticketed yet but it is going to be a difficult fight. I just talked to my insurance earlier and they stated that the impact appears to be a 50MPH+ collision. My car slid ~20 feet (two full lanes) from the impact.

Where the car was coming from (by car I mean suburban) was downhill and around a corner before going through the intersection. He did have right of way but if he was going 50mph (35mph speed zone, and look at the pictures... that is NOT a 35mph collision) I would have ~1 second from first view of him to impact. I plan to fight this but it is going to not be fun.

Most important part is I walked away with very very minimal damage. Paramedics were shocked that I was ok.
First of all glad to see you made it out ok. Second sorry for the loss of your car. Third this looks exactly like my dads accident back in 2004 but on the drivers side. I have been trying get the pic's to post up here.
