Been hearing rumors about a FWD Bimmer for a while, thought it would be a car under the i branding, not the one series.

We cry about bimmers getting to big, when they give us a small one it looks like crap and is FWD!!!! I'd rather buy a Mini (at least there true to their heritage).

i love the mini. i wonder if it will be a hair bigger. fyi you cant fit a e30 door in the back of a mini with the seats down... and barely after you chop the upper cill off...

Now German owned, they make 4 door minis the size of a minivan and a 'coupe'... I'd say they're straying away from their heritage as well. Especially since MINI is owned by BMW.

Ever since around 2005-2006 BMW has started seriously going downhill. Now 3 series coupes are '4 series', etc.
