Looks like that's at Tulley in Nashua - is it an employee that's selling it?

I work at HC BMW in Boston, I have a few techs that work here that used to work at Tulley - I'll bet they know the story on the car!Originally posted by alpinacloneSince the real economy is in the shitter, I say we start our own.

His Name is Al and yes he is a tech at Tulley, he is selling it privately. His story is that he got it over a year ago. He has been driving it daily 50 miles per day.

If you have the story on the car that would be most excellent.Comment

He may be a tech and all but if he doesn't have documented proof of when the timing belt was changed that should be the first thing you do...as in within a few days/weeks tops.

(call around before you meet up today and get some quotes and use that during negotiations: price, you buy parts/he covers labor, etc.)Das ist nicht nur nicht richtig, es ist nicht einmal falsch!Comment

One of my techs worked with him for years. He's a CPO tech. I'd get receipts documenting the timing belt, head gasket, etc - just to be sure. Good kid, talks a lot (says my tech) lol

Edit: He is a VW kid to the core (not sure why he's working for BMW, whatev), so this car doesn't "do it" for him. I don't think he's had it for a year, though he did have it on the road (see the pic with the NH plate.)Originally posted by alpinacloneSince the real economy is in the shitter, I say we start our own.
