Interior swap. opinions desired

I have a black '87 325is. It currently has a Cardinal red leather interior with grey carpet.

Now I have 3 choices;
1) Swap to a Grey European Sport Cloth interior

2) Swap to a Black US Leather M3 interior

3) Keep the ugly ass cardinal.


So what do you think will be the best?

I'm all about the cloth seats. When I order my recaros, I'm getting them in cloth.

Cardinal is not synonymous with ugly. Cardinal is definitely my favorite out of any color! I eventually want to swap to an entire cardinal interior. KEEP THEM! (that is, if they're in good condition) I'd just switch the carpet if I were you. Black on Cardinal is kick probably the best color combo!

By European interior, do you mean with the Recaro flo-fit seats?

If so, then I'd either go with either 1 or 2.

I'd sure as hell get right of the cardinal.

And my personal preference is black......but black looks better with black carpet, and hedliner, etc. Or just change the seats to grey cloth, right should also look good in my mind.


What car is this (I know 1987 325is), but is it daily driver? I'm sorry I don't know your cars. If it's daily, I don't think removing seats for two aftermarket seats is an option, but that would be sweet. :P

I'd definitely keep the cardinal, especially with a black car. Black on red is so hot! I believe the cardinal is fairly rare too, correct?
