    The dashboard swap... What would you pay?

    I am doing this heinous swap right now... What a PITA. What is the going rate to have this done?

    I'd charge you 120, that's about 50/hr.

    keep in mind I charged 80 to do a guys brakes and rotors all around...

    I'm not saying hey bring it to me, but that's what I would deem fair. Paying someone to do something you yourself don't want to do means you're paying someone else to do something they don't really want to be doing either lol. So you pay to let them have a headache

            It is really not that bad if you leave the climate control intact and have some one help u. Make sure not to damage the a pillar trim.

                it only took me 4 hours. if you were doing this during the weekend you could have asked the local e30 group for help.

                i would have been glad to pitch in for pizza and beer.

                      This reminds me, I have to change my dash in my e36... Any locals wanna make extra $$?

                      I'll do just about anything else with my cars, but I can't get the motivation to pull the dash.

                        Just leave it out, it'll save you half the time and a bunch of weight.

                              You can actually just replace the HVAC box with a fish tank and a blow dryer iirc.
