I agree. 6 cylinders are over rated Well tuned straight 6s are cool, and sound great with the right exhaust, but there is just something about a race bred 4 cyl that makes my day. That and the fact that I can pretty much park in any parking lot and not have to worry about another person rolling up and parking another one next to me, and if they do, I'll have to stop and take a look at it.

The E30 is just a flat out well designed platform. Easy to see out of, comfortable, ergonomically reasonably well thought out. Heck, 25+ years later, any E30 that has been well taken care of still looks better than 90% of the cars on the market now.

How easy it is to remove grills, lights, lenses, etc.

        Dislike the cooling system.

While I like the ABILITY to scroll, I dislike the way you cannot scroll backwards, only one way :( Still, for being over 20 year old tech., I suppose it's pretty forward thinkin'

Lighting the whole engine bay using overhead lighting without removing the hood FTW!

From being under the hood of my trans am so much when I re-wired the garage for better lighting I mounted four 4' fluorescent fixtures to the garage door itself. Illuminates any underhood situation! Well...until I bought an e30.

Even tho both of my lights work, I've never actually used mine. I do like the way you can angle them in different ways tho

I like how a bone stock e30 looks like an empty slate.

I like how you can take a completely bone stock e30, and add in tonnes of factory options (map light, rear headrests, heated seats, 13 button OBC - in german, green defrost button into a late model, rear fogs, headlight wipers, rear window blind, euro grills, elipsoids, side mirror delete, gas can in the spare, battery tray storage box, double trunk light, cabrio hartop roof racks, Evo II auxiliary fuel cell, automatic oil leveler... you name it. There are hundreds of factory things you can modify your car to have, and no matter what, there is not a single other e30 out there exactly like yours, and you can still say it's bone stock.

Threre were just so many different options, large or small, from the factory to keep you busy for a long long time.
