Body, paint and wheels are like new. Just the top and the leather is destroyed. Carpets and everything else are like new also. The car just sat there for years.

timing belt+water pump. Id look at the oil when you drain it....if its bad maybe pull the pan and see how bad.

all cooling rubber, all fuel rubber needs to be checked. brake soft lines inspected. thermostat might be frozen.....the list goes on.

I had the good fortune to find that owner's friend was a mercedes benz mechanic. He pulled the tank from the car ages ago so it wouldnt rot. He had held the keys for the car all along. We checked all fluids and hoses etc b4 I bought it. I said I wasnt buying it unless it ran. I didnt even make them roll it without changing the plugs, putting in a battery, putting the tank back in it and changing all fluids. They turned the key and the alarm had to be disconnected. They turned the key again and the starter needed to be brushed. They turned it again and it sang! I drove it around a few kilometers and bought it right then and there. After the purchase I sent it to the dealer. They did a compression test and examined it for what it needed. Its was trailered to my house and its been covered ever since.

So the vin says its an m20? Maybe someone just put those body panels on

How much is it worth if its just panels? If I can find proof that its rare well then obviously the value is undeterminable till then or if then.

Mileage, and pictures will help people estimate what a value might be. Sounds like a couple of thousand dollar car without pictures.

I said 50k miles. Look at vlads red E30 m3 cabrio and imagine it in ugly ass bronzit beige and uglier wheels. Forget the wheels basically and just say what the value of the car would be. As little as A and as much as B.
