Did you drive it home? $750 seems like a good price. Clean that baby up and take some fresh pics.

if you part this car, i am going fly out to sacramento and kick you square in the nuts. either put some money in and fix what it needs so you can drive it or make a few bucks and sell it whole to a forum member who will appreciate it and give it the love it needs.

good luck with it. don't be a waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles by parting it or letting it sit out in the weeds.
everything will be tested tomorrow my bro heard it run and saw it drive onto the auction stage. nothing sure yet..maybe i could dye the interior cardinal......

no, that would look ghey. either fix what you have in grey or find/piece together a complete interior of another color.

as far as lowering the suspension, thats not easy with the front of an ix. standard lowering springs with no other mods will net you less than 2" of travel on the front. ground control has the only kit to do it right. its a bit pricey. 1500.00 if iirc.

Finally some decent responses. $1200? Hah! Rwd e30s in similar condition go for double that. Looks like a crack free dash too. All m20s tick, but a valve adjustment is in order. I'd replace the t belt as well. Check compression. This is very similar to my car. except my interior is cardinal.

2k if the transfercase is shot, 3k if the transfercase is good. 4k+ if you plastic bumper swap it and replace the front seats.

Would you give me 2k with a shot transfer case?

not thread jacking you, but here is a thread about my 700.00 ix. my son and i just recently put the drive train back together and i licensed it yesterday. just like your car but a 91 with plastic bumpers and it didn't have sport seats. i fixed that problem, though.

there is lots and lots of good info about ix's on e30tech. if you are not a member be sure to join.

I'd lower it on some good suspension and take it to the track.

I found plastic bumpers for it same color for 120 with front shocks. I'll get it started tonight and listen to the motor. Maybe take it for a spin :)

Why not looks pretty clean. That's my friends IX (tires too small) and my current dd that people said I shouldn've parted out cause I paid too much and front end had too much damage.
