I liked my M10 car, but when the motor popped, there was no way in hell I was not going to M50 swap it.

you guys like bmws ,but know nothing about the e30 m3?
A couple guys on this thread seem to understand the car.
Funiest thing is the angry dude who claims he has drivin in e30 m3 but talks crap about them seems to have know idea how great the car is.
you might want to do some utube searches on bmw e30 m3 dtm.
watch some the videos than you will understand the car.
strange when at a car show theirs a crowd around the car.
driving down the street some one chasing you to yell out something about it.
I have owend a 1972 2002,1997 e36 m3,1988 super eta their is a huge difference.
not everything is about drag racing 500 hp cars
But if you have to guess you can do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlaQzn8wV4w,that gets old and it is never fast enough.I really doubt any one this site has the skill to drive a e30 m3 to its fullest potential including me.
E30 m3 the holly grail of cars.
I love all bmw cars but this is the one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dyslexia caused you not use periods, sentence structure and confuse 'no' with 'know'? I guess it also means you cannot read since you called me out directly. Let me spell it out for you again. When I am driving MY car on the track the racing history of the E30 M3 means how much? Well it means ZERO. Why? I am not driving one, it is not a race and there are no 190Es out there either.
I understand their history and what they mean to the history of auto racing and BMW Nerds. I get it. TO me though I am a performance junkie(not sure where you randomly made up drag racing) that prefers to actually track my car than jerking off to 'racing history' on YouTube. I have driven plenty of E30 M3s and they drive, handle, stop and feel like any other E30. I understand on the track the momentum fun and excite(plus the aural experience) of a high revving and nicely handling E30 M3 is good. However for me one that wants to just track my car I'd rather have a 24V, Coilovers and more on 325iS than the 15-20K E30 M3.
You must have missed where I said 'in my opinion' over and over again. And to be blunt I can go buy one. I just plain do not want one. I think they are overpriced and over hyped.
And anyone can google cool race footage to prove how awesome one car is... Seen the last 3 minutes of Sebring 2012? E92 M3... so awesome right?
E36... look at it blow the doors off that E30 M3! Obviously better cause it's in a YouTube video... Everyone gets so worked up when someone has a difference of opinion on here.

That alone takes any credibility or base of any thought you have about bmw e30 , the m3 and goes right down the toilet bowl .
Yes my shitty writing and spelling but imagine I still don't talk out my ass and have a clue about cars?;)

Please tell me where they are different? What 'feel' do you get different? Let me see here...
-More Caster
-Aluminum Control Arms
-Offset Control Arm Bushings(Solid)
-Mount end links to the strut
-Brakes
-Most important a wing, bumpers and sweet wide body(this is worth ~10-12K by itself).
I get it. It is better. However just jumping in you don't go "Damn this is so much better!". At least I didn't. If you read this forum and then drive one... I think you would be a little let down.
I don't have a clue about cars. OK Sure... who is talking out of their ass?
"I have owend a 1972 2002,1997 e36 m3,1988 super eta"
So you had an 02, E36 m3 and a Super ETA? And want to tell me all about E30 M3s and how awesome they are. And the best E30 you have had is a Super ETA? I get it you love the E30 M3. Go get one and enjoy it. I am not stopping you. I simply think you are mis understanding where my stance is on them.

I own one its sitting in the garage right now^:) ooooppppps:)
so really I do know the differences not pretend theory or Alice in wonderland stuff.
I love all bmw's every single one built!
yes driving the car is way different than a non e30 m3 and if you really driven one you would know that.
I'm not hating on you man your just kind of funny.
I feel your passion that is great you love you'r e30's so do I.
If I could have kept them all I would have I decided to just keep my 1988 e30 m3 and daily driver x3.

Based on the E30 3-Series, the first M3 was introduced with a 2.3 engine S14. The engine design was based on various BMW parts: basic block layout from the M10 4-cylinder (found in the 2002 and 320 series) overbored and reinforced to similar specifications of the BMW M88 inline-6. The valve train and head architecture from BMW's M1
The production of the E30 road car was to homologate the M3 for Group A Touring Car racing. . In its final years of competition, the 2.5-litre S14 engine in full race trim was capable of over 250 hp (190 kW) naturally aspirated.
The E30 M3 road car version produced 192 bhp. a lighter bootlid, a deeper front spoiler and additional rear spoiler.
[edit]Changes from the standard 3-series
Body
The E30 M3 differed from the rest of the E30 line-up in many ways. The M3, although using the same basic unit-body shell as the standard E30, was equipped with 12 different and unique body panels for the purposes of improving aerodynamics, as well as "box flared" wheel-arches in the front and rear to accommodate a wider track with wider and taller wheels and tires. The only exterior body panels the standard model 3-series and the M3 shared were the bonnet, roof panel, and sunroof.
Suspension
The E30 M3 differs from the standard E30 by having a 5x120 wheel bolt patern. The E30 M3 had increased caster angle through major front suspension changes. The M3 had specific solid rubber offset control arm bushings. It used aluminum control arms and the front strut tubes where changed to a design similar (bolt on kingpins and swaybar mounted to strut tube) to the E28 5-series. This included carrying over the 5 series front wheel bearings and brake caliper bolt spacing. The rear suspension is a carry over from the E30.
Brakes
The E30 M3 had special front and rear brake calipers and rotors. It also has a special brake master cylinder.
Driveline
The E30 M3 had one of two Getrag 265 5-speed gearboxes. US models received an overdrive transmission while European models were outfitted with a "dogleg" version, with first gear being down and to the left, and fifth gear being a direct 1:1 ratio. Rear differentials installed included a 4.10:1 final-drive ratio for US models. European versions were equipped with a 3.15:1 final drive ratio. All versions were clutch-type limited-slip differentials with 25% lockup.
Wrap up
Thats a little more than your list ohmmm cough cough :)

How thick are you? It is an opinion. No need to get worked up and try to prove that your opinion is better than someone else's.
Also, why do people try to hide their license plates in pictures? If I were able to get you information through your license plate, it would be just as easy to get your information by finding out that you have an 88 M3, late model white E30, and a 97 E36 M3.-Alex
