some people still selling clones of my chips

I wanted to mention that in the last 3 weeks, 3 people have contacted me asking if chips they bought were fake. In at least 2 cases, they definitely were. If you want to be 100% certain that you get a real chip, and not a clone, and possibly an improperly copied one (yes, I've seen that happen) just order one from me directly. And right now they are $199, shipped.

Here is a picture of something someone from R3v is selling as mine:

And here is the thread where I mention the spring sale, for people who don't support buying stolen work:

Keeping costs down is something we all like to do. But counterfeit chips are outright theft and don't support the folks that put the time and money into creating the tune.

It's probably not worth it just to make a chip for one car, but to even start on it I'd need to read your stock chip first.

Bump for a good guy, pay the extra money if there is even a question of authenticity and get it directly from Mark. You dont want some hacks mistake to cost you a engine.

That's got to be frustrating for you Mark.

For the record I've recently had a few customers call and start to order parts for engine rebuilds due to engine failures linked to certain ebay chips.

I just bought on of your chips used, from another forum member. How can I tell of it's a legit MarkD chip or not?

Buying a fake chip is failing yourself and everyone around you. Why?

                      1) You're putting your car and engine in danger, risking thousands of dollars, just to "save" some money in the short-term.

                      2) You're supporting some dick-shit person who is cheating and stealing from a hard-working honest person.

                      3) You're not supporting the hard-work and efforts of another person, maybe someone who lives in your community, or even your neighbor. That's a let down to yourself and undermines any good left in society.

I've been waiting a while to buy your chip Mark, the second I have the money to, it's all yours. Stay strong man.

Does a fake chip operate the same?

Got my chip late last year for my m50nv and it is amazing, previous owner had put in some crappy unknown chip and the difference between it and the chip I got from Mark was huge.

Dont risk it, support Mark and his quality product.
