Anyways from the sounds of it this is going to be one sick e30! And props to keeping the car, I wish I could keep my ix but restorations dont go that well in a college parking lot.

A cars value is entirely unique to the individual. I hate it when people argue over that kind of stuff. If someone pays 8 g's for a car it was obviously worth that amount because they paid that much for it. If he like the Baur, props to him for keeping it and making it what he wants, not what others want.

I also agree, don't worry about resale if you like the car and plan to keep it for a while.

I love my three E30's to death... I'd buy more, but my wife won't let me.

I think bauer's are cool, they are so unique. So rare, I've never even seen one in the flesh. Sounds to me like you've got a good plan with the Mtech I, BBS, and color - all perfect! I can't wait to see it. Hope it turns out well for you.

I 100% applaud you for fixing it. I also understand as I just took a good car that was wrecked and made it a great car! (imho)

Baur's are hot. When I'm in the market for my next e30 I'd pick one up if I could find one. Sounds like yours is gonna be lookin sweet.

I like baurs. No car is a good investment, and something rare like a Baur has it's own value that you can't put into $$. just keep it clean!
