nah, people who try brute force and fail will immediately assume a subordinate position. the seller did not want to lose his car AND get his ass beat.

      funny story. congrats.

        hell of a story!

and the window fades from the sun, washing, dirt rubbing on it when washing/ folding the top down. basically, you're looking at 3 years of a clear window if you park outside. but a replacement is ~$90 from emiata. also, be careful when folding the top down to make sure the plastic doesnt fold funny and crease. when its cold outside (less than 50F) be VERY careful that the window doesnt crack.

        nice car man!

Tries to tackle you. Craigslist has some real freaks on it!
The dude realizes that he is loosing money on the deal as you had the technical knowledge and ability to fix a transmission issue that was not as dire as the seller had assumed.

So physical violence is the answer? Then drinking?

I guess he figured if he wrestled the title and bill of sale away from you then its as if the car had never been sold. At that point the cops would say its your word against his.
Then when he could not get the title and Bill of Sale he figures he will get you drunk to try and seduce you into giving it back to him.

This is some seriously disfunctional shit!
