The last real good april fools joke that I saw was years ago on e46fanatics (I think--may have been bf.c). It was a well done story about bmw's having piss detectors to stop dogs from peeing on them. It was pretty funny and convincing, had some people for quite a while. I haven't seen anything of that quality since then on any forum.
