thats complete bullshit. THe only porsche engines that crap out at 70k are the ones that people treat like honda motors and never touch...Porsche are not hondas, they're porsches. But they are well engineered, and with routine maintenance, a porsche, just about any porsche, can be daily driven. Yes, it will cost you more, and yes, they are expensive to fix. If you're a cheap fuck and think that you can buy a 8K porsche and not maintain it, well of course you'll have a POS unreliable car before too long (i'm not implying you're that way at all matt...)
Its the same thing with BMW's being 'unreliable', If you dont treat them like the somewhat finnicky and precise vehicles they are, then yes, they will leave you stranded. On the other hand, if you are willing to get dirty, or have the funds to pay someone else to do it, then you'll be like me; I've never been left walking by either of my 'unreliable' cars.....BEERTECH
