Granted this video is a few years old but still, seeing it sold for close to $15,000 in the condition it was in...Well it made my shorts a little tight...
What do you guys think?
Whats the best deal you have seen on an M3?
Basaltblau 318i (Sold) Dammit do I miss these cars... Someone sell me one!
I paid $7800 for mine with 77K miles back in 99 when they bottomed out. Some members here got running or semi running M3's for less than 5K. I'd be shocked if there were any uninformed sellers out there today.
That show you linked is at least 10 years old though. 12k gbp is like 19K USD which sounds about right.
"I'd probably take the E30 M3 in this case just because I love that little car, and how tanky that inline 6 is." - thecj

a friend of mine bought his e30 for $3k 6 months ago. seller was ecstatic about the price, clueless too. running, good condition m3. could have pulled that price for a 325i for it's condition.

I'm jealous. That's a crazy deal. I know they are out there somewhere. I'm shocked these sellers don't do their research other than KBB. Guess your buddy can thank KBB for that one. hehe

Always knew it was a special car but didn't think it (or E30's in general) would be as popular as they are now. Mostly enthusiasts own them now, so the prices are higher.

Take a drive/ride in one, it'll change your opinoin.. :)
This is what i'd like to do. Cause the type of cars i like, plant you in the seat from the moment you hit the gas. But from what i've been seeing on here from guys who have them. They say its more of a car that once you get moving, then it's fun to keep up there. I guess its more of a top end car so to say. But still like to see first hand and form my own opinion lol.

I won't sugarcoat it...the typical S14 doesn't have the torque to move the car off the line and in low speed/RPM's which is where most street car driving is done. You would literally have to redline and dump the clutch every time while making a lot of noise doing it. The S50 swap solves this and gives the best of both worlds if you don't mind swapping the engine.

4500 for my 2 owner 98k mile diamondschwartz. I paid 5200 but I sold all the new parts it came with for 700 bucks. Its got minor hail damage but mechanically its 100% and has a stack of receipts totaling 28k from the dealer. everything was rebuilt as the owner chased a vibration. That vibration is called an s14
