Yesterday, I'd just decided to "unlist for sale" my 318iS with a Pete McHenry-installed s14.
There's too much in "alloy treasure" in-and-under my street/track '91 Q-ship.
This is the kind of "precious metal" to hold on to!

traded my lowered with 18"wheels (huge back then)1998 S10 with 12,000 miles in 2000 for my M3(was worth about $15,000). Back then everyone told me I was dumb and got the short end of the deal.........hahaha!
It wasn't really cheap, but it is accident free, and has never had a speck of rust on it(extremely rare in europe)

M3 is not a dragster, it about having a well balanced car. Quick and agile through turns and will whip around road corses very well. Been able to keep up with really exspensive fast cars on track, yes they dust me on the straights but you catch back up in the turns."I wanna see da boat movie"
"I got a tree on my house"

Not nice on the street? Untrue.
There are far better cars for the track or for the street, but consider:
One weekend I had a track day at Thunderhill in the M3 on a Saturday. For Sunday, we had four adults in the same car cruising the wine country.
The only modification was removing a floor mat and putting on a helmet. (only for the track day, my friends don't drink ~that~ much.)
