How is the Mileage (MPG) & Maint cost on 325iX?

Other than what everybody else has said, I would like to mention a few things. I own a 325ix and i have a few things I love and a few things I could live without. I love the AWD. The flexibility of being able to go almost anywhere is a major plus. Plus, its an e30, so a great car. Now, a couple cons. The 325ix lacks the sport package of the 325is. I would love to have a spoiler and sport steering wheel and sport seats on my car. Instead, i have the weird, fat steering wheel. The suspension on the 325ix is pretty high, and cannot be lowered as much as a 325is or an M3. But, all said, I love my 325ix. Everytime I change or add something to my car, I love the feeling I get inside. So, it's your decision, but if I could go back in time choose to buy a 325is in the same condition as my ix instead of my ix, I would do it.

Sounds like you need an '88. I have the full sport interior, the 13 button computer, sport seats, etc., etc., etc., plus the rear deck spoiler.

Also, for suspension, try bilstein HDs with H&R sports - its a pretty great combo.

88's are great as they came with all the sport stuff.
if you want to lower something get another e30.

I like my ix a lot, but parts are expensive for it (think modern car expensive.)

Mileage I can't comment on,though, my car is chipped and needs front-end work, so it can't be that great.

In the snow, it beats all, hands down the best winter car - I love flying by people on the highway at like 70mph in the snow when they're crawling haha

my 88 is beast.

but it's easy as hell to swap in a spoiler, sport seats, mtech1 wheel, and only moderately more complex to install a 13 button obc. the sports package was not something really unique that couldnt do later.

I love my 88' And if your serious about going low trust me you can get pretty low with a full ground control set up. I have billys and some lowing springs, not sure if the brand but its a ground set up and it doesn't look like a monster truck.
