I'll be shipping my touring stateside when it reaches 25 years old, but that's not until 2015. So in a few years time there'll be one in the Bay Area, but I imagine after the DOT 25 year rule we'll see a lot more tourings in the US.
You can pick up a touring in decent shape here in Poland for about $2K. I got lucky and got a non-molested car for $1800. Of course there are a lot of hella beat e30s in Poland, but a few diamonds are still out there!
It'll be an awesome day when I can roll across the Bay Bridge in my touring...
Add one touring to your tally in Poland.1970 BMW 2002 w/M20b25

I have had 3 here in Germany, all ended up being stripped and crushed though.
The awesomeness wears off quick when you realize it is a too small station wagon, overweight E30, and there are tons of em, over here.
-- actually about 40% of the E30s still on the road here are tourings and another 50% are verts.

I had two while in Germany. I agree with mike. They are really rust prone too, specifically the rear hatch.alexw

Are you going to import a few for us over here?
I could use a commuter car.

You need to understand that in the 80´s Chile was a poor country under communist control so not many luxury cars were imported.
