I only used it to pull the trailer home empty. The E30 was going up on the trailer for track day use :) westafalia hitch, m20 turbo, e36M3 6spd, E28M535 diff.
I believe it can pull 1230kg only, so I can't put anything on there besides a scooter ;)

I did have a 1995 525IT like this and sold it to one of my very good customers :(. Atleast i get to see it from time to time when it comes in. I do regret selling it,but i did make money out of the deal :D.

Just an fyi for fellow touring owners with shitty headliners.
I've been avoiding doing my headliner since I got the car because I didn't want to deal with removing the windshield and having to glue it inside the car. Finally started taking it out this weekend and there is a hard foam headliner that is clipped in place and removable without taking out the windshield. maybe you all knew this but I just found out and I couldn't be happier.

More info on the headliner ... mine is sagging in rear cargo area and rear seats. Can you expand on your fix?
