how is the viper on that list? Hardly a "cult" car. Same with the civic.
an extremely pugnacious, snarly little bastard of a car.

Ha that list is so unfair.

The closest thing I have ever had to owning one of those cars is I owned a regular civic once....
civics have a cult following but just the si model doesnt really...

the toyota truck has a cult following.

            volkswagon gti... definitely

I think I see 3 cars with a cult following.

Buick grand national? What? By cult following does that mean, its popular with mormon offshoot religions?

my guess is that they didn't want two BMWs on the list. the 2002 made it, so the e30 didn't.

there is a following out there, believe it or not. this is a legitimate performance/collector model (although one can question whether it deserves to make a 'top ten' list).

This is a teaser for "BLACK AIR: The Buick Grand National Documentary." I made this in August 2011, while I was still editing the film. The film's…

No E30? Is this a joke?
E30 has way bigger of a following than many of those cars.
                  Someones trolling us.

to the guys saying the Buick GN is undeserving have never gone for a real ride in one.

in their time those cars were un-believable. I have seen them wheels up on a launch, and then drive home after the race. nucking-futz cars for shizzle.

I still have a hard time with the Volvo on there though...;)

The quad four motor on the Buick was a gem. Designers put one in a Fiero and it blew the doors off of the Corvette at half the cost. GM killed that project REAL fast. Couldn't allow it to damage sales on their king car.

Not too sure about handling on the GN, it was probably infinitly better than every other GM product at the time but would get trounced in real twisties by most German cars. Straight line, yeah, they would move.

Quad 4 was an Oldsmobile engine to start. A decent engine that GM could have exploited well. It should have been the Fiero engine in the 2M6 got the lazy push rod engine.

I thought the STI had a little more than a cult following... Ken Block wannabes are pretty common.
