I don't think you can beat a Toyota for reliability.

They keep going, even when abused.

You hear about "Honda kids blowing their engines" because "Honda kids" are fucking dumbasses. That one kid is a moron who either buys shitty engines, doesn't take care of them properly, or a myriad of other bullshit that would cause ANY engine to blow. There's dumbasses like that with E30's too, you know.

Also, D/B/H series motors are DIRT cheap so a lot of these dipshits do stupid shit because they don't care about wasting 3 hours of their life swapping in a new engine.

It could be because they beat on them wicked hard. I beat on My ETA motor, VERY hard, it had over 300k miles on the original block, and it had perfect compression and never burnt any oil....Id like to see a Honda motor last that long. I don't think its much of a comparison(ETA only revs to 4500), but still...

Always see these Hondas burning Oil too, badly. Only the "Enthusiast owned" Hondas weirdly enough. Not any of the shitbox's that I have no Idea how they even run.

The Kid knew his shit. The motors just kept failing. Maybe he was buying shitty ones. I don't know him well enough to say. He wasn't a ricer, and his car was done up very well.

About two years ago I was running time trials at roebling road and some crappy lookin "lemons" civic smoked me in my spece30... We were close in speed, but he was about a sec per lap faster... Over thetwo days i got faster, but so did he. The civic was light and fast, and obviously very cheap. I tip my hat to that budget civic racer.

Like the guy i posted about earlier in this thread. Always flying around town, getting pulled over, and most of the time has a donut on his car because one of his crappy Tires on his terrible Ebay chrome wheels went flat and he really cant
    Afford to replace it.

Theres cool Honda kids. Who are respectful and their cars look decent.

Id never get into the Honda scene, they dont seem like durable cars at all. Always here about honda kids blowing their engines, all the time. I talked to one kid that was on his third motor for his EF hatch, and its not even boosted .

We're all car people at heart. Except for the ricers.

every honda still gets compared to those monsters, and with a good driver even a stock setup will keep people in much better cars on their toes at the track

Same story with my friends s50 e30.
or get a roll bar sticker on your windows so it just looks like you have a roll bar inside.:p

That's okay, as long as it's nothing vital. :loco:
Besides, I didn't plan to roll it with the kids in the car.
I could always put padding on before we do that.

I would think a cage or roll bar would put a target on your car for racers, but maybe just faster cars would challenge you and the "hondas" would back off.
