Now I've seen it all!
On a related note, I worked as a mechanic at a golf course this summer. Whenever I finished working on something, I took it out on the course to test it out and cool off. I'd take the stuff out on the dirt paths and drift them hell out of them. We had Workmen with manual transmissions, either 3 or 5 speed. Get them in top gear and you'd be going about 25mph... I could slide them for 30-40' at full lock and barely scrub any speed. I also drifted the 3 wheeler sand rakes :)

I have this track that goes around the outside of a couple of the fields by my house, there is this one strech that goes down this long steep hill and has 4 berms to get air off of. on the original gatoe we had you could take it at full speed, getting 3-4 feet of air on each berm. then my dad traded the Gator in on a newer faster model.
the first day I got it I hit the money strech like I always did on the old one, balls to the wall, exept this one was a good bit faster. when I hit the first berm I launched like I never had before, when it landed it bounced twice on the front wheels (the gut I was with swears it bounced on the front bumper) then the back landed and shot back up and bounced a couple times. ( I should add that gators have NO rear suspention, wheels bolted to the frame) thats when I made the call that this one is bit to fast for the Shotgun Justice ( the name my cousin coined for this streach of the trail)

Good times. Good times. The Workmen I drove had independent front suspension and a solid rear axel with leaf springs. I bet no suspension would drift even better :) It was fun "off-roading" those things too... going into ditches so steep that the front bumper touched (and the overhang on the front is only about 6"), and going mudding after it rained. I got covered.
Some of the mowers had turbos smaller than your fist... this stuff was fun to work on.

I'll lay witness to the gator madness. We recently discovered at my motorpool that the support platoon had gators they used to haul all the lubrication products from one end of the motorpool to the other. Well.... the rest of my squadron is in the field and no support around and we need to move 6 towbars..... you guessed it... from one end of the motorpool to the other. These gators have a nifty winch attatchment also along with a locking clasp rear hitch. We also have 3 aircraft type trailers that have tandem axles on them. Well.... it had been raining for about 5 hours when we went out the first time.... Yeah..... 25 on concrete with 1500lbs of nuts and bolts, armor plating, tow bars, suspension components etc behind you should be illegal. Especially when you are doing that 25mph sideways between 2 M88 tracked recovery vehicles. Needless to see I had to do some "corrective training" before the end of the day....
And.... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA@Digitalwaves avitar.

Don’t even get me started on four wheeling the gator. It has 4WD (the back 4 wheels) and it has a selectable rear locker, that beast will go over anything!! Everyone that I have taken on a ride is ether cracking up or scared shitless. I can't even describe all the shit I have done in that thing.
I have a course through the woods that is ridiculous, the last climb I damn near rolled trying to go down it, and you half to hit it a couple of times and just keep on the gas to get over it. most of the time you get about 2/3rds of the way up then just start smoking your tires, you have to bump that shit just right and keep in the gas to get over, plus there is a tree at the top so you half to stop right at the top and make a 3point turn!
I think the craziest shit I have done in that thing is hitting a tree in the middle on a corner at full speed (fucking under steer). I still can't belief that I was ok, I hit that tree HARD, it even bent the frame on the gator so that one wheel was like 4 in front the ground.
Then there was the time that I somehow RAN OVER a round hay bale!! I’m not shitting you, I was trying to do the slalom and I overcooked a corner and slammed right into the side of the bail, it rolled when I hit it and somehow I caught traction and rolled right over it. I didn't mean to do this and I don't think I could do it again. But I did it once.
My all time favorite thing to do is pitch is sideways where the gravel meets the pavement and drift across the pavement.
