This is where you start to build a REAL BMW ratrod...

Not with a totalled E28, not with a 2002. You start with this.

If I had the money, this guy would already have a deposit, and I'd probably be single in no time flat.

I know the first thing the purists are going to say, but this is A PRIME CANDIDATE for a proper ratrod build. And beyond that, you would legitimately have THE only one. It's making my head spin how incredible it could be.

    DISCUSS.

with an S14, and some 13"wide RS's on the rear, and 3" in the front- no wheelwells-- I could see where this would be pretty unique.

But what are you going to do in 5 years when the rot-rod fad is over? ;)

Can we get some kinda crazy r3v fun started?

User votes go towards what's put on and then we have to put our money with our mouth is?

Like how often is anyone presented with the opportunity to buy a dixi?

I'm thinking s14 power, in the vein of that Cosworth Model A from a few years back:http://m.jalopnik.com/347865/this-mi...el-a-ford-ever

I love it! Someone has got to pick that up at that price.

Fuck me sideways, I've wanted to build a ratrod! That would be absolutely perfect. Too bad I'm buying a house right now or I'd snag that thing up in a second.

Wow, George is a hellatious model builder.

I like the Dixi ratrod idea.

BTW, ratrods have been around for decades. Not a "fad."

Okay, after some serious thinking, I'd do a nice M30 dirty motor, open headers, and S54 ITBs.

                              Yeahhh...
