Apparently I not only have to be a member to view that thread, but I have to have at least 100 posts. He had it up on Bimmerforums, too. Is there any more info there than what is found here or on that Craigslist ad?

edit: You should tell him he's had a PM on bimmerforums for a couple days about his car lol.

I PM'ed him. Shoot me your info, and I'll pass word along.

Here are some photos for you as well...

Got ahold of him, it's looking good so far. He gave me the number of the shop that's done some work on the car so I can get a second opinion on the car. I'm liking where this is going.

Awesome, Yeah, I've heard good things about the shop you are calling, and the guy the seller bought it from really loved this car, ended up with an '02 and a Bavaria after getting rid of this.

Assuming the mechanicals check out, I'd buy that car. GL!

              Is an e35 535i really a $5k car though?

Cars in Idaho go for more than they would in other places. I'm usually very surprised to see the asking prices up here. This car is in better condition than most, and while it's not all the best of parts, you'll be hard pressed to find something in this condition up here. For reference to what I'm saying, I'll post another recent car I took a look at for someone...

Can't find the CL ad now, but a 1983 320i for $3000 in absolute beat condition, at the top end, I'd call it a $600 car.

Well... I didn't say I'd pay the full asking price, only that I'd buy it (it's an E34 BTW).

Since you saw it last I got "is" sideskirts, Reiger front lip and splitter, euro bumper trim and grills, and detextured both valances. And the thing that sucks is I only have one shitty cell phone pic of it after I had that work done.

My advice is an E36 325/328/M3.

Replace the water pump/t-stat housing/radiator, control arm bushings and you should be good to go. I have had zero issues with my E36s that weren't normal maintenance.
