I'd still take an M roadster over it. Z3 > Z4.

a factory tester for bmw, worked in germany and south africa, was in my work a few weeks ago. he drives all the new bimmers on the track before they come out/

he said the z4 is far ahead of the z3 in terms of design, for one the z3 being based on a modified e36 chassis. said a bunch of other stuff I dont have time to write as I'm at work right now

but that renn z4 is hot as hell

I like the Z4. Whenever I drive one at work I always feel secure and safe in it. The car is very poised, the electronic steering is quite cool (better than having a traditional fluid power steering pump/lines/rack ect). I would say it is in the top 3 BMW's out right now that I would buy.
