Had my first visit to the painter today, to get the car redone.

The benefit is, he's my dads cousin and my godfather, so this makes my life a little cheaper.


I showed him the car, and he showed me a few projects that he's done. Including a frame up restoration of a mid 70's 911 that will become a track car at some point, his work is amazing, professional, and clean.


Car will start the process in december, as I rip everything apart, (Fenders, glass, hood, trunk, etc. I'm not spraying the engine bay yet, that will happen when I put yet ANOTHER engine in the car

I'm dropping off the Mtech1 stuff next week, so it can begin getting prepared, cleaned up, and any crack/stress repairs done.

I'm stoked, As soon as the Mtech1 is installed I will begin building the 2.8L M20.

I admit I kinda like the car as is (minus the horrible paint)

However the lack of rear valance annoys the hell out of me, I hate the back end, so i gotta fix that =)

What color are you planning on painting it? Respray or color change. No matter what you choose its guaranteed to look badass with the mtech1
