    Anyone know of a good Auto to 5-speed guy?

    I have a e34 m50 thats automatic and I hate it so I was looking for someone local (socal area) that knows how or knows someone that can swap mine for me?

            how hard is an auto to 5 speed swap in an E34? my friend has a 5 speed parts car and an auto 525i driver. ive been bugging him to do the swap but he thinks its too hard

                  I would assume a shop would have it for at least a week as well, if not more.
                  I want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

                    Well its much easier for me to work out borrowing/renting a car for a week then getting a car till I get around to learning/finding time/making sure its right, and I figure a shop will know what they are doing so it will take them a 1/4 of the time with more time to dedicate then I do

                      He helped me with my swap and charged a reasonable amount for the labor. Either that or Jeremy (Monkey Madness); he does everything from stroker builds to turbos, coilovers, and more.

                      Both guys are top notch and will help you for a fair fare

                          E30 Motor Werks can take care of that for you, and is just down the road in Huntington Beach.
