I think door cards would be your best prospect. I would be down if the set were nice enough.

Do a run of smaller parts and hone your skills then move on to the more difficult spoiler

Well for my personal use I'm doing hoods and trunks for weight savings, I just got another yard today so I'll make some stuff tomorrow probably.

Those fog deletes are cool, but other than that I think CF is gehy.

As you know spoilers like the IS and m-tech use several holes along the edge of your trunk... basically the only option you have now is to get you trunk filled and re-painted, getting a color match is difficult and the labor is sometimes pricey. The wingbase can be easily painted or left in a nice carbon fiber finish and will be maybe only a bit thicker than 1/8".

My personal zender spoiler was painted on my vehicle, if I was to remove it I would be left with about 4holes and some spots that are not the same color as the rest of my trunk. With a CF spoiler base I can bolt it to my trunk and If I plan on running a different wing you can use it as an adapter to cover up old holes and even bolt the new spoiler to it. It will be a nice looking piece so you could also simply 3m tape it in place as a cosmetic mod to cover up the ~10 spoiler holes left behind by your IS spoiler.

I may be using it on my car to bolt an OEM M3 spoiler to my trunk without ruining it.I can simply make my wing base/adapter bigger than my trunk lid bolt it to my current zender holes which will be covered by the new wing and then bolt the M3 wing to my base.
I'd like to go spoilerless but I think implementing it to look good will be hard unless you do the right shape and size. Personally i think the best option would be like this:

But flatter for a spoilerless look while also plugging the holes
