to make my gurney flap I used the actual spoiler as a sort of mold. I just laid it in the middle of the spoiler to get the correct curve in all dimension/directions and then slid it up the spoiler whenit dried to create the gurney flap. the gurney flap is rock solid at 120mph with minimal vibration, before when it was only 2 layers around 70mph it would start folding back.

So this week I'm going to make some more of those carbon fiber radiator covers. they will be 100% carbon fiber with no ABS plastic backing like mine has. I'm going to use my current one to make a mold. I cant guarantee a price but I have better ways of producing it now so it shouldnt cost more than about $60.

also I'm going to make a rear speaker shelf out of carbon fiber, it wont have seat belt holes or speaker holes but they could be easily added.

ok so here's the deal for the radiator covers. I made one yesterday and it fits perfect and only weighs a couple ounces. its 100% carbon fiber and made with epoxy resin and 2 layers of CF. it will come pre-drilled with nice edges.

It will be available in a few different options

                  Option 1-$55 shipped
glossy but raw finish-looks cool still but you can physically feel weave

                  Option 2-$65 shipped
Wetsanded and and has one more layer of epoxy resin than the raw finish.feels smooth and slick and has the cool "DEEP" look you are used to with carbon fiber

also hardware is available for an additional $10 to each total.
hardware includes 2 washers-4 nuts and 2 bolts.

will upload pics of what the hardware is like.

these will only be available for about 1 month before I'm going to get sick of making them.

You can always add some clearcoat to the finish if you want it to look even glossier and deeper.

Think a working sunroof would be too crazy?

I'll likely giving it a try on a friends rally beater E30^ should only weigh like 1/4 or less of what the original one weighs .

Is it functional though, or is it one that is supposed to be permanently sealed in? There's plenty of delete plates, but few that are actually functional sunroofs. It has to be able to mount and fit like OEM.
