Is it really a maaco? If so you can contact hq which will put pressure on them since it is franchised.
Also, report them to the BAR like now

Unfortunately I leave for Germany in three weeks. I'm not sure court will be a viable option...Leave a comment:

Hahahahahaha, ready to listen up now?
COURT. Not insurance, they're penny pinching pieces of shit that will get you an inadequate settlement. Go before a judge who will side with this in a heart beat, have the shop served and the original guy served. I'd be more than happy to walk you through the entire process.Leave a comment:

I'm filing with their insurance and the BBB. I was blown away today by the shop's conduct. Not only did they give up and not properly fix the damage they caused, but they left the car unwashed and the interior covered in primer spray and dust. I confronted the owner's son about the inadequacies and he held the keys at me and kept repeating 'we're done.' I left boiling mad. I texted the owner and let him know I'm extremely dissatisfied and that I'll do what needs to be done to make up for the carelessness they exhibited. If anyone can help me through the legal end of this process, let me know. I took several pictures before I took possession of the car. I wasn't comfortable leaving it at the shop anymore.Leave a comment:

So, this sounds like the perfect place to take my turbo car for a respray.

thanks barry, please save me those grills!
i went to pick up the 'finished product' for the third time today and the owner was embarrassed to even let me look at the second attempt. rookie painter went agro with the clear and made shadow-casting drip runs ALL over the fenders. going to be sanded down and re-re-resprayed. el oh el.

Yeah Mike you do look like a punk kid lol. Throw on a dress shirt next time for goodness sake. Shit like that does make a difference in the real world. I'm just busting your balls man, glad to hear they are making it right. It's just the inconvenience of it all. Why can't shops just do the job right the first time??? they cut corners and hope the owner is satisfied. Most owners are not enthusiasts like we are.Leave a comment:
