    Actually, 88's rule... For reasons stated above.

    Already swapped my rear to plastic, just waiting for the right deal on the front. As others have said, ditch the metal.

    In the real world any E30 that is Pre Facelift has Chrome bumpers and anything that is post facelift has plastic bumpers..

    USA Just had to be special....

    Most common are the IX 88s having diving boards I believe. Don't know why buy all 88 ixs I've seen had dbs.

    All the 88's I've had has had plastic bumpers.

    But I've seen 88's with diving boards.

    I've never seen the 88 diving boards mountings, I just assumed they were like regular diving boards.
