    Difference between 325i and 325is?

So I always thought I knew everything between a 325i and 325is but it's not so much. So without searching around for it, post what you honestly think the difference is. I want to see if people actually know and I'm a retard for not using google OR they are slightly fooled like me.

Any model with an "s" suffix, like the 318is, 325es, and 325is, denotes the sport model which only came in two door form. It can be easily recognized by its front spoiler with integrated foglights, rear decklid spoiler, and 14" BBS cross-spoke "basketweave" rims. It also featured a limited slip differential (optional on the 318is) , bolstered sport seats, thicker swaybars, slightly stiffer shocks and front springs, and 3-spoke sport steering wheel (except '90 on, which used a leather-wrapped airbag wheel). The 325es and 325is came with an on board computer, power sunroof/mirrors/windows, central locking, and premium sound system standard as well. In 1991 there was no official 325is model, although the Sport package with all the aforementioned items was still available.

So E30lov which one would you buy or looking for the right one, a 325is or a two door 325i for probably cheaper. Because that is where I am at.

whichever one seems like the best deal. Any one of those features the sport models have is easily obtained and put on a non sport model.

this thread is stupid. Why don't you search instead of polluting a forum with nonsense. Honestly you aren't much better than the bots trying to sell iPads and iPhones.

Alright, I was asking a question that I thought a good amount of people would also want to know I would think and I am fairly new . The other guy was actually helpful and resourceful like a normal person on here so please be useful or dont say anything. I have very tight budget for a E30 so I need to be precise and specific on my knowledge of these cars to buy the right one. and questions like these will help me immensely. so one day I can post a build thread as I am "college poor" and not be "cluttering up" like you say.

eS did not come with basketweaves. I've always preferred 'S' models myself since they came fully loaded. No need to swap anything cuz it already came with it. Get one if u can and the price is comparable to a standard model.

I would love to get an "s" but my money is tight, can't travel, and live in Colorado where there are no good e30's for cheaper that aren't automatic.

Just get an i. The first thing I'd swap in is an LSD. They do wonders for winter.

Every once in awhile you will find a decent example for under ~$1500. Be sure to act quick, because your local vultures will quickly scoop them up and sell them for 4k.

I think I will go that way unless the right 325is comes around. Thank you for the help, things like this will help me hit the right one perfect.

you are in the wrong place friend.

He was pointing out to you that this is basic info that could be found in several places on r3v already.

you would usually have had a new orifice chewed into you by post #3.

As far as I vs IS...

to think that after total depreciation there is a significant price difference based solely on trim level is false as well, a nice Eta will pull more than a bagged out IS.

it will be entirely car to car for price difference at this point, and they are like leggo anyway, mix and match and build what you want the way you want it.

PAC1373, I think I am trying to say is this could go many different ways where I could just ask how ever many questions I personally need to know with a lot of opinions of answering by posting one thread then finding the shit ton of threads.

And for the sig I'm not a 100% sure but a family friend said it half drunk and he has a 1600 that has a gave him he'll for rust. But it was awesomely funny at the time. I'm more or less waiting to get my first e30 so I can make a sig out of that, so anything goes.
