weekdays canyon runs are traffic/cops free., say around 11 and 3 when asphalt it's hot and sticky. Encinal on 3rd all the way or Latigo hill climb-a-thon. there's a freaking local kid with a Subaru WRX that fly's pass me on the uphills. that Bastard !
Ill definitely keep that in mind. We have to set something up once the DMV stops drilling me.
Yup. SoCal's got some good stuff. I got my "i" intake manifold and TB for $50.Originally posted by kowalskidamn you people and your GOOD scrap yards. all the ones arround here want more then the what the parts cost new! i found H&R lowering springs and the guy wanted 250$ for just the springs. its brutal these people.... i have to find some good yards....

Fronts: 6" length, 2.5" ID, 300lb/in
Rear: 5" length, 2.25" ID, 475lb/in
I ran the same rates, but those lengths are short, especially the rear. Even all the way up you'll be tucking the rear tire quite a bit.
And you guys can't beat me, I got an entire i head for $45CAD. Taking it out was real fun though.Comment

I've snagged 4 Bilstein Sport shocks/strusts, Eibach lowering springs from the junkyard. Also there was a bimmer with sways, lowering springs and struts but didnt bother with it cuz Im not a bimmer guy..you should check the junk yards frequently..today there was some sort of lowering spring on a 325 @ the yard today.Comment
