i can totally see that dumbass at a gas station taking his shoes and socks off, and if i would have seen that in person, i would have kicked him in the testicles, and informed him that he had just been kicked in the nuts

I dunno, but an oil pan gasket job on those things pays around 6 hours.

For those of you who thought M20 pans are a pain in the ass, those only pay 3 hours.

I will admit that the thought ever so briefly went through my mind to use a torch to loosen a rusted bolt on the fuel filter on the M6... but quickly dismissed it.

I love people with more money than they (or their parents) can handle when it comes to cars. They dont know a f*cking thing about them or what theyre about, all they know is they want one. And it MUST be the latest model (preferably european with LOTS of over engineered computerized gizmos that were never needed) and with lots and lots of horsepower. Ask them to explain or even spell torque and they stay silent.

That is absolutely amazing. Makes you wonder who had your car before you did. If he is capable of this kind of behavior, think about the things (like running low on oil) he does on a regular basis that won't show up for a few years. ugggghhh

I think just once would do. Then Chuck Norris could roundhouse kick his M3, and turn it into a Yugo.

I mentioned this to my local indy mechanic... and he didn't seem surprised at all. He and his wife then progressed to tell me a whole slew of horror stories. One guy sucked a flexible metal oil funnel around his camshaft doing the same thing this guy did. One person poured honey into his engine and when he let it rest over night the car completely seized right up. One woman ran her engine for 20k miles on non-syth oil, killed the engine, warranty didn't cover it even though it was a new car. It truly is amazing....
