I'd offer to sleep with the owners daughter, provided she's of age and up to par.

If it's the guy in Ventura?, I think he's dreaming. Trying to get all the money he ever put into that motor back and then some.

In Seattle WA it would sell for around $1,500... there was just an s52 with tranny and e34 oil pan and all the proper mounts for e30 swap that was up for $2,000 here... got sold instantly

1500 sounds fair, but like the guy above said you could probably offer 1k and work from there.

So a cylinder head and a block with a harness? $800

$1500 is comple s5x territory in my mind. Or an entire wrecked M3, this has happened many-a-time.

                      800 to 1000

people with those motors dont mss daisy them they run them hard. 130k on a m3 it would come out to 200k+

At this point add a head gasket and pressure test the head. Lack of components I'd give $1100 for it.

Have you done a www.car-part.com search for one?

                            Somewhat.

I haven't had much luck with car-part. The pricing seems to be high everytime I check. Maybe I'm wrong though...

Automatic cars are a little harder to beat on, no? I would say manual or auto would be a deciding factor.
