    I dont think you quite understand how much untapped oil is really out there. Yes demand is going up and the price is going up some thats what makes these reserves viable to go get. But on the general scope of things it will remain cheap.

      True, I don't. Not the first clue, in fact. Things I read say we've
      burned something like half of it, but that's what we know about.

      But it's finite, and why not make plastic out of it and burn sunlight instead?
      Plastics are very useful, you know.

        A Citgo in my town recently started offering ethanol free gas for car pumps. They are also on an inlet for boat docks, so they sell it on the docks for boat engines. Unfortunately it is too low of an octane to run with my chipped e30 or e46 325xi, but it has made a huge differece in my 1981 Yamaha XJ550. It's carbureted and used to knock and feel very sluggish, but with the ethanol free gas it pulls much harder and idles and the knock has been silenced.

          We have a couple of places at home that advertise Ethanol free fuel every gasser we own even the ones that are designed to run on E85 run way better and get better mileage on the Straight petrol
