Let me rephrase what I said. I would never sell me current e30 unless someone offered much more than its worth, which I know isn't going to happen. If it did happen I'd just buy another e30 vert and start putting it together. That said, the e30 is isn't my only car as most of us have more than one. I've got a TJ and I almost bought an e39 m5 last month. I saving for a 997 and I might buy an m5 to drive until I get there. Back to the point. If you like the e30 keep it and just buy whatever else you want. Before my TJ I had a YJ, I'll probably be in a Jk or early bronco at some point. My 3rd car has been e28 e36m probably e39m next, then 997 then 991 eventually etc. I'm just trying to say that you can have a love for 1 car keep it around without beingI want a nice set of smoked MHW's (I know, get it line)

I made the mistake of selling mine once. Albeit I did get a lot of money for it, I regretted it within months. I was lucky enough to find the car again 4 years later, buy it, and have it shipped back across the country. I will absolutely NEVER let it go again, the feeling I get when I am driving it is like no other. Not to mention some big things will be happening with the car in the next few months.
My other cars (such as the S50 5 lug car) I do miss but I don't have any regrets.Comment

about 2 years ago, i traded a clean clean eta for a 94 325is , that e36 lasted a week b4 i money shifted and yeah . week later i was in a mk3 jetta, still hated that car. So i traded that for a 97 GC8 impreza , very fun car but still not the same. Had that for a month and half. Sold that and the same day i picked up my first vert. Sadly i just sold the vert back in March to get this coupe i have now on the cheapers

i had that problem for a bit but what i do is drive like my e23 for a week or my e38 for a week or my jeep and pretty much after a week of driving the same car you end up missing one of the other cars...idk how id do with 2 e30s though. i had the e21 and my e30 coupe and it was like almost driving the same car some dummys at my work even thought they were the same lol...maybe you need to get a 4th car ? a little newer bmw like a 5 or something?-His-

Nope, I'll beat the thing to death and rebuild it until my son does the same.
I've had an M roadster, 2.0T GTI, 1.8T Jetta, etc, and came right back to an e30. Dollar per giggle, I'd only consider an NA Miata. But they so cheap, I'd just own both.Last edited by rightcoastbias; 07-30-2012, 12:18 PM.Comment

I'm never going to sell my cabrio its the "one" for me it even hit the pavement the same damn month and year I fell out of my mom. However I do plan on owning a shit ton of cars when I can afford it.Comment

I sold my first one and though I liked it, I don't regret it one bit. it didn't hurt that I sold it for a healthy price. I did miss that e30 feeling though..
so after the build is done (lol) on my current e30, again, I could probably sell it for the right price. but I will inevitably miss having an e30 and would pick up another one.
it's a curse!Comment
