    Uncle's Rock

Sunday afternoon my Uncle calls my house looking for my dad. Why?

Because he wants his email address to send him some pictures of his new car. Black on black '89 M3. Sweet!!! :D

My uncle is the guy that got me obsessed with BMW, he buys and sells cars like no other. Mostly 2002's, but I got my 325 from him, we went tracking in one of his 2002, and now he buys an M3. Damn, I can't wait to visit him so I can take it for a spin!!!

However, still no pictures from him. He often sets out to do something and then immediately forgets, but I will post them when I see them.

I wish I had just one other family member that was into cars like me. Whenever we get together for dinner or something, and the conversation is about cars, no one seems to get why I'm so into my BMW.

To them, a car is a car is a car :?

take them in a spin through some twisties.. heh. I took my mom up to 50mph around a corner in my car after I finished the suspension last summer, and she nearly had a heart attack. She probably would have if I'd taken her on the road to my house at speeds I drove every day (60-70mph). She didn't really understand that I really wasn't doing anything dangerous. I think because she'd never been in my car before she thought I was going much faster than I actually was. I've never heard her scream so loudly though, it was kinda like being on a roller coaster.

uncles do rule, I ended up scoring a deal with my uncle to live in his house cheap while I go to school. He's not here at all so I basically have it to myself. it's also nice to be able to work on my car on a cement pad instead of a gravel driveway. :)

I'm an Uncle now....got two nieces (1 & 3) and a nephew (6). Once my nephew turns 8, I plan on taking him to this indoor karting place near home and I plan on paying for his junior racer lessons and a membership. I want to get this little whipper-snapper into cars early ;)

Jon, teach him well. You are not a bad racer on that track. I am not sure if you have any auto-x experience but you sure whooped on everybody that one day.

At least be honest, it's always dangerous...

..Just the level of danger is more manageable with improved handling :)
