i believe that they are made by procar which is a company owned by scat the crank guys. But what are you looking for. If you are looking for some ocean front property in arizona good luck if you want some pretty good brand new seats on the cheap call them. If you are looking for a set of recaro's than expect to pony up some cash. I see guys selling well used vw recaro's for the same price as a set of new summit racing seats.

I had the scat ralley pro seats my bug and loved them! Very well constructed and their design would not look out of place in an E30. The only draw back compaired to recaro seats is that the seats have a solid base as opposed to the recaros suspension mesh on the bottom.

then find a metals guy that can fab the bracket. pay for the metal, buy him beer and lunch or work something out.

There ya Go! Post Pictures in the thread after install so that other conservative , fiscally minded , financially sound individuals can potentially go with the same seat alternative.

Its a win-win. You get to share your new seats you scored on the cheap and others that may search for seat topics on the forum get to see how they look and what you did to get them to fit.

Here is someone that fabbed a set of brackets and it will give you a "general idea" of how you may want to layout the metal framing and bracing. At least its a start -right?

I'm saving for Corbaeu gtsII seats. In black or grey leather. For the next car, not this one.

i plan on posting Pics for sure but the Seat was 160ish from summit and i bought a bracket for $90 that is Supposed to be PNP but we will see when it gets here:roll:. i only got one this time so if it does not work its easier to return, i test fitted just the seat and it looks like it will fit. If the bracket seems easy to make i wont have to shell out another $90 for another bracket and save some that way and i will post up how to make that one if i do.

with the seats, the cheap part of the seat seems to be the seat material, the mechanics feel solid and a lot more sturdy than my buddies ebay seats.

Soooooo..............these are pretty tall they fit just barely, if you are less than 6 feet these will work. they allow me to get into the back seat pretty easy which is nice, so overall for shorter people these can work well but my head touches the roof i gotta rock this until next week when i can buy the other style of seat and return this one but the bracket is well built and has a hole for mounting the seat belt pic should help some the seat touched the door but does not keep it from closing.

if your head touches the roof, they are pointless.

why are you going to upgrade your seats if you cant wear a helmet with them?

is that the evolution. They had a bracket for the E30? What about the elite.

this is a DD and i live Hours away from a track so no helmet i am returning this seat and going to try and get a diff model and modify the bracket to make it shorter

the bracket was e30 specific from scat just email them and they will have it i was shocked they did too!

im going to get these they are 3" narrower on top and an inch shorter on the bottom but i still plan on lowering the bracket a little ill update when i get these in as they seem to be the correct ones to get for smaller carshttp://procarbyscat.com/Products_Sportsman_Pro.asp

While it is stupid to have your head touch the roof, not everyone needs to have room to where a helmet.
