my aching point here is that for the most part the kids that are tooling
around in e30s bought them for a couple of hundred and learn as they walk
away.

Speak for you self, I have always driven with a degree of tolerance incase something like that catches me off guard, You are an idiot if you drive your car to the limits on the street, I also don't cross lanes weather there is traffic or not, I have never totaled a car.

Mind you I am only 26 so I still have many years of driving to prove my statement.

never missed a single mark on my behind the wheel 3 years ago and totaled my e30 yesterday in a freak accident.
