I'd get a 5spd 4runner and put a hitch on it to pull the E30 around when it's FUBAR.

    Keep it slideways!!

I've had great luck with both of my e30's- my 84 that went to 320k before the floor went, and my 87 with 250k on it now. The mid-90s Camrys are great, old Hondas the same way. I would also reccomend an old Mercedes, you can't kill those, and mechaniclly they are very similar to the e30.

I paid $500 for my 86 Mercedes 300e, and I get around 21mpg in town, and around 25 highway. Not to mention it handles like a BMW, and is a great highway car.

              Chevy Chevette.

Cheap, and seem to never break.
At least with my friends Chevette. We had to drop it off a small cliff 4 times for it to stop working.
Everytime we dropped it, the motor would stop, then when we goto crank it, starts right up and purrs.

How much space do you really need? 95ish Honda Accords have good space, and are good DD's.
The E30 has a great amount of space. I'd like a bit more, and I'm looking for 4 doors. I might have a in-family hook up for a '01 Le Sabre. Ballin'.
The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.

Hell Yeah! 22-R's are one of the most reliable engines ever! I would definately want the convenience of the later fuel injected ones though.
