Random - I remember those pics of your E30 carnage, unbelievable. Glad to see you're mended and checking in. R3V hasn't changed much in your absence. There's still the good, the bad and of course, the unreal.

      Welcome back

That's a really nasty wreck. It looks like you hit the tree right at the strongest part of the body at least. Kind of impressive an E30 isn't worse after a hit like that. Welcome back!

in the end. 3 surgeries. #1 was 16 hours, #2 was 12 hours, #3 was 2 hours to remove some bolts/screws/other hardware a few months later. my doctor was the man... literally, his name was Dr. Mann. I'd recommend him to anyone. in the end, I'm walking and in overall good shape. I hurt on a regular basis, but I'm alive

i would surely, 100% positive, be dead if i wasn't wearing my seatbelt. buckle up kids

                      That's crazy.

Still remember those pics. Actually used them once in a lecture on automobile safety. Seeing your car brings back memories of what a "clean" e30 once was. Welcome back.

You sir had God or some kind of superior power on your side man. I've seen people, including friends, die from automobile accidents that don't even begin to reach this caliber. You sir are one lucky man, best wishes and welcome back to the community.

I know it's in poor taste to ask, but this genuinely has me curious...May I ask what your medical bills were like? I can only imagine them being hundreds of thousands in the end, and can only hope you had ample insurance.
