What wheels are on this car??

There's a porsche 944 on Craigslist and it looks like it has BBS RS's on it. Almost makes it seem like it would be worth buying the car just for the wheels. Or I could buy and try to get it running, but from what I've read in the past, the most expensive Porsche is a cheap Porsche...

There's another set of RS's on Craigslist that I have contacted the seller about, so this set would be an attempt at a profit.

    What do you guys think?

Edit: It'd help if I posted the link, wouldn't it?

Those look to be some vintage BSS RS. Problem is Porsche fitment is hard to work on an e30. Worth a shot though for the right price.

Why? 5x130 and 4x100 don't overlap, and they have pretty high offsets so you can adjust the fitment to anything that you want.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

Get it and take on a long term project and fix repair as you have time.

How can "car does not start" and "runs good" be in the same ad?
              Buy it.

porsches traditionaly have really wide rear wheels with kinda narrow front wheels even though since those are on a 944 i may be wrong so they me 16by 7 in front or 16 by 9

Depends on what model RS they are, typically they have very wide barrels. Not saying they cannot be run, for 1,400 I would buy the Porsche and sell the wheels.

I will know more if the OP buys it and posts pictures of the model# But from the picture I can tell it has 2.5" step lips in the rear and 1.5 slants in the front. My guess is 6" barrels making them 16x8/9. I have built a few splits in my time...you still have fakes right?

                      lol had to.

IMO the best setup for the e30 is 5" barrels with 2.5" lips in the front and 3" in the rear. Making 8x9

Go find out what the RS# is, there is three numbers that follows the RS around the pattern. You need some splits in your life!
