its all about the experience, there will be no pleasure in having it shipped. driving it back, he will be able to meet the guy hes buying it from, and have the pleasure of driving it back!

No, I couldn't get the money together in time to get the 318. This is the 325 listed on eBay, the red one with the euro bumpers and Alpinas.

Traffic, shitty weather and cops all over the place.

For the cost, I'd say ship it.

Fly up via Indepence Air or Southwest for under a $100, drive down and along the way have to gtg's to show off the new ride.

Edit: the negative about shipping it. It can take forever for the company to pick up and deliver it to you. Also make sure you have full replacement value. A friend of mine shipped his Audi A4 Avant via truck and it was on the bottom, well the car above had a leaking slushbox.

ATF eats paint, insurance company said we are not paying and shipper said we are not paying....Small claims are a bitch.

but, the train has a car full of boose. 7hr. party! plus the adventure. get out of the house for a bit. See where you car is from. I'd drive it back

Only negative is it's winter time now along the East Coast. There is a storm about to dump 4-6 more inches tonight. Hope it has good tires.

Trust me, I'd go like 5mph and take a week to get home if it was that bad.
