Yeah, WTH is up with the prices of e30s now. I was honestly thinking of selling my e30 and moving back up to some in the touring family. But then I noticed how much e30s were going for, so I decided it's a better head turner than a newer BMW in my head.Click here to leave me feedback on our transactions. :p

I completely agree on this. But as much money as they go for now, I doubt I will get rid of my E30.
Before my E30 days, I had a 240SX. But I can honestly tell you (without sounding like a hipster), "I did it before everyone else did" type of deal. My stepmother bought it brand new in 1991 and handed it off to me when I was 19. When I sold the car a few years back, I priced it reasonably well at $2k. I got so many calls on it and it was gone within 6 hours of me posting it. Now I see them going for 5 grand for some rotted out piece of shit that has a half-assed turbo KA or SR20 with cut springs on it. Worst part is that someone will pay that bullshit price.
I REALLY hope this doesn't happen to the E30, but only time will tell...1989 325i - 2.7i, Holset H1C, 60lb injectors, whodwho MS-PNP.

IMO E30s are still very cheap for what they are. Supply and demand for good e30s says they should be more expensive than they are. Let me know when they are at 2002 prices.(the model 2002 not the year)
Higher prices can also be good thing. There will be less people inclined to ruin them. They will be "totalled" as much and parted out, and more will be fixed and rust-repaired instead. Vendors will also be more apt to create new e30 products which there hasn't been a good market for because of the "cheap e30 owner" stigma.
Whats a few thousand bucks more when a lot of people on here are spending over 10k or 20k on them for their builds overall...Zinno '89 <24v swap in progress>

I think there's a lot of seller confusion: They see cars for sale on CL that have been well kept and have mods selling for $6-8K and they think their stock e30 is worth the same. Amazingly, people are buying these cars... and since a market is based on what people are willing to pay, that becomes the new price.
