I have a set of metric gear wrenches at work, they make life sooooo much easier. Not much bigger around on the box end than a normal wrench too so theyre not bulky like some other ratcheting wrenches I've seen (coworkers' stuff).

I have a full set (8mm-24mm) Gearwrench brand, I've never had a problem. Don't know how anyone lives without them.

Here are the different options I am look at.

          http://gearwrench.com/ratcheting_wre...sets.jsp#85698 - Can't find a price, but looks good.

          http://www.skhandtool.com/productcat...token=73223489 - I like, but spendy.

http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item....re&dir=catalog - These seem to be real nice, and not as spendy as the SK.

I think these are my top 3 choices. Input on these (prices of the gearwrench set) would be great.

I have a 8-19mm Gearwrench set. I have the type with the flip switch, and angled box end.

Best ones IMO. They do break from time to time, but in the ~3yrs of ownership I've only broken 2 and both were from gross misuse. None the less replaced free of charge :)

I use these more then anything else at work.

I paid $50 for a set of flexhead gear-wrenches at sears on sale, for 10mm-19mm. Also, I highly suggest the socket add-ons that craftsman sells to convert each wrench into a low profile ratchet, they are totally worth the $30 extra.
                Agreed. :)

Thats good to hear you got them replaced no hassle, did you have to send them back? As I recall, there was an address listed on the gearwrench's tag. I'm pretty sure sear's still carries the gearwrench's (at least last time I checked.

Yup, thats the downside... You'll have to end up purchasing larger or smaller sizes.

I could probably order a set of Facom ones through them, but Facom special orders take a long time.

Blue Point ratcheting wrenches dont have a narrow enough engagement angle. I was trying some out on the snap-on truck at work friday, and wasnt really impressed.

um, i got whatever ones are at Lowes. but they are a time saver. And i carry like a 11mm, 13mm, and a 17mm one in my "track box". Really makes things easier.

definitely want a 19mm to help save mucho time on diff removal/install.

I have bluepoint flex head ratchet wrenched.... awesome
I have blackhawk stubby ratched wrenches (0degree) the best
I have 12degree gearwrench the are good

i would def recomend the stubby.... once the nut is broken loose if it is a hard place to get to the stubby's are the best

I have thoise craftsman ones that are the old school style.... never use them they dont fit anywhrer
