    hyundai elantra, trans mounting issues

My moms elantra had an issue where i had to replace the engine w/a junkyard one.

The engine cranksover freely with no trans. I used the trans from her old oneand the same torque converter. I removed and put the trans on multiple times, and it seems that the engine wont crank. The bell housing sits flush, but did crack a few times...

I am wondering if this trans is somehow still not mounted correctly? is there some computer restraint that does not allow it to turn?

The engine WILL NOT budge with a 1/2 drive wratchet in any gear on the trans..

    Thanks in advance

is the auto trans in gear? you need to make sure you have the shift linkage connected at the correct position.

Engine is out of car, if i select the gears manually on the trans no matter what I cannot get the crankshaft to move when the trans is mounted.. PRNDL all dont allow me to move the crankshaft via 1/2 drive wratchet.
