how about a aluminum steering wheel boss hub!

As if the Mugen steering boss wasn’t fancy enough… This is the ASM racing boss, machined aluminum body with a dry carbon plate. Made for all S2000 to fit most Momo, Nardi and Personal s…

Replacement turbo encabulator. The stock ones just aren't up to the task and I have a slight hiccup below the belt line.

    Should be easy enough.

"Just so you know I have a smallish machine shop so no cnc or anything like that but I'm pretty capable." from OP

All these ideas are sweet. but require cnc. unless you can fab by hand a 24v head... I wouldnt want it on my car. do much detail to mill by hand... wheels are a possibility depending on machines he has.

the shifter is realistic.. Just sayin.. dont wanna be a jerk.

Rotary Valves would be very slick, I wonder what the durability is with that setup.

And I agree with Nando, trying to make a 24 valve head for the M20 based on hoping to make a profit would be a pretty dumb idea. Considering the work that would need to be done, it's just not feasible.

The only way it would ever happen is a one-off type scenario, where someone wanted to do it just to be able to say they did.

like a rotary valve M20...14000rpm would do the job nicely

The Coates Spherical Rotary Valve System is one of the most advanced engine technologies in the world

Ps don't say 5 lug or body kits, thats too big for me.
Rear axle carrier with 12 degree sweep angle and contol arms to go with it. :)

I also vote for an oil filter relocation kit. The stock location stinks and can be a pain for some to get too. The empty 'shelf' where the cabrios have their battery is one option....fabricate some type of bracket to bolt down which would have a provision to place the screw-on type filter. Maybe in the upright position so when you remove it very little oil drips out.

The 24V M20 head sounds great....but that's a pipedream at best. A huge investment will be needed to get it started then you need to have enough confirmed orders (i.e. deposits) so the person behind the project doesn't take a bath in lost capital. **edit - and for some folks where emissions testing is a pain to deal with (read: Calif), the 24V M20 head could get you a failed smog result based on visual inspection alone**

The oil filter relocation suggestion wouldn't require nearly as much to make a reality....and in the end, the price will be obtainable for a lot more enthusiasts.

I would like to see some better wheels made for the e30. Something in the 16x9-10 direct fit pattern, et10 57.1. I want some proper track wheels! 6UL wheels do not have a 16 or anything in a 10. Prices around 200 per wheel and under 16lbs.
Make 5x120 wheels too? 17x10 possibly? I like the offset your thinking of, but the hub would have to be 72.5mm. I need track wheels for my e28!!

That's exactly my point...even though there are many shifters you can use on an e30 there's still gaps in between the jumps in throw/length that an adjustable shifter would fill.

Because then one shifter would suit everyone. Some may like a longer throw with less notchiness, others may prefer a shorter throw and more notchiness. One person may prefer shorter throws for track/autocross and like it longer for daily use. And some may prefer a taller or shorter shifter than stock, which can both be done with the same shifter if it's adjustable. I've seen a height adjustable shifter but ever one that can adjust the throw.
